Tehachapi Farmers Market

August 9th, 2007 Me

Tehachapi Farmers MarketThe Tehachapi Farmers Market takes place every Thursday from 4pm -7pm at Railroad Park in historic Downtown Tehachapi, May 31 - August 30, 2007.

The Tehachapi Farmers Market is bigger than ever in 2007. Our market has grown so much since last year that I’m thinking Railroad park won’t be big enough in 2008.

This year there are a few local produce vendors like Tangleweed Farm, as well as a plethora of nearby central valley farms selling fresh fruit & veggies. New this year is a children’s corner with a small petting zoo and face painting.

Aside from shopping you can also sample fresh breads, goat cheese, desserts and a whole lot more.

Have you heard yet…the Farmer’s Market is going on into September! How exciting. The Farmer’s Market is one of my favorite things to do in the summer and I’m always sad to see it go. Kids love to pick fresh produce and put it bags…and the Tehachapi Farmer’s Market is a carefree place to take children shopping since there is plenty of “running” room.

    See ya at the Market!

I am sad to see the farmer’s market go…especially with that great Indian food…those guys really need to open up a walk-in place here in Tehachapi.

I hope they run it this long again next year. Even though many people don’t show up at the last week it is still a good time.
