Edelweiss European Delicatesson

If you haven’t stopped in at the new deli in Old Town Tehachapi, Edelweiss, you really should. They offer Boar’s Head deli meats. These deli meats are a taste sensation and they are free of all the bad stuff…no fillers, no by-products or anything artificial. I tried them over at a friends and made a special stop on grocery day just to get a couple pounds of the meet.

I was pleasantly surprised by the interior. It’s spacious, clean and friendly. There are large tables to sit at while you enjoy your food, you can buy some European foods to take home and the service is friendly too. I haven’t eaten one of the sandwiches or scrumptious sounding salads but I will soon and be sure to tell how it is if someone doesn’t beat me to it.

    The food here is the best! Just like Europe…American food is avaiable as well. I would recommend a toasted ciabatta sandwich with european meats and cheeses. The coffee is excellent…the brand they have is Lavazza which is “Italy’s Favorite” Mine too!
