Audit the City Books

December 21st, 2007 Me

There have been a few emails that have come across my desk in the last couple of days regarding inappropriate use of funds by city officials.

Attend the City Council Meeting on January 7, 2008
Join the next meeting at the Veterans Hall on January 7, 2008. City Councilman Stan Beckham will be calling for an Audit of the City Books. Come voice your opinion. The people of Tehachapi need to step in and learn what the city has been hiding from the people for too many years.

Hope to see you all at the meeting!

Sam. I’m working on other venues and we need to get as many citizens involved as possible. I don’t know IF or WHEN the City has ever had a 3rd. party independent audit of their books but it’s certainly something whose time has come. For example, it has been reported that Jason Caudle’s new employer was awarded over five million dollars for some work they did for the City in the past. This does not bode well and no one seems to be watching the foxes in the hen house. I have a strong feeling that once the audit is completed it might well be fodder for a Grand Jury investigation.

This might be the most important Council meeting you will ever attend. No one knows WHEN, if ever, the tax paying citizens of Tehachapi were ever informed about the City’s expenditures of their hard earned dollars. NOW you have a chance to stand up and speak out. BE THERE!
